President Obama was greeted in Africa not only as a ‘star’ but also as a son. He visited slave dungeons that existed under colonial British rule in Africa Read the text of his speech. Later he addressed members of the Ghanian Parliament.

During he emphasized that Africa’s rise to power and a more stable society– lies in the hands of Africans, themselves. He said clearly ” Yes, you can change!”

His speech was blunt, profound– and connected the dots. Pointing out that only transformational change’… will move the continent forward/ boldly into a new era .
